Michael L. Shanahan
Michael L. Shanahan is a distinguished plaintiff"s personal injury and wrongful death trial attorney. Joining Gallagher Law Offices after a successful tenure as a Partner at prominent personal injury firm, Michael has built a strong reputation in the legal community for his client-centered approach and notable litigation outcomes.
Michael focuses his practice on representing victims of trucking accidents, medical and nursing home malpractice, construction accidents, products liability, and car accidents. He believes that a successful case begins with establishing a strong attorney-client relationship, prioritizing open communication, and ensuring that his clients feel supported throughout the judicial process. A graduate of DePaul University College of Law, Michael received his J.D. in 2013, where he was awarded CALI Excellence Awards in Trial Advocacy (2013) and Legal Drafting (2012). The CALI award is given to the student with the highest grade in the class. Prior to law school, he earned a bachelor's degree from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign in 2009.
